It can be hard to decide which city to visit on vacation. While some people choose a place based solely on the weather, others look for places with a thriving tourist industry. Others still look for a city with a rich history. We’ve put together a list of top cities across the US to visit in 2022. Some of these destinations may be familiar to you, while others may new, but regardless of where you go on vacation in 2022, we hope this list will help you plan your next trip!
Here are the top ten US cities to visit in 2022 that will offer something exciting and new for everyone:
1. Charleston, South Carolina
Charleston, South Carolina is a beautiful city that will provide your vacation with many activities. If you enjoy the beach, Charleston has a long stretch of white sandy beach that is also known for its maritime history. This destination is also home to many events such as the Olde Towne Christmas Market and the Charleston International Film Festival.
2. Savannah, Georgia
Known for its beautiful southern charm, Savannah is a city that blends the past with the present. With cobblestone streets, old plantations, and beautiful beaches nearby, this city is a great place to visit in 2022.
3. Saint Augustine, Florida
Saint Augustine is one of the top destinations in America for its culture and history. The city has a rich history dating back to 1565, where it was founded as one of the first Spanish settlements in the Americas. Today, Saint Augustine is a thriving place with an abundance of interesting things to explore and do. The city is home to charming historic homes that are protected by UNESCO, old Spanish fortresses like Castillo de San Marcos, and even a pirate ship museum! If you want to take part in some unique cultural offerings while on vacation, Saint Augustine is your best bet.

It was incorporated as a third class city on March 26, 1915. Originally called Biscayne Bay (after the bay on which it sits), it was renamed "Miami Beach" in 1915 by William Shearn Moody, one of its developers.
Miami Beach is also popularly nicknamed "The City Beautiful."

This city also has a lot to offer people who are interested in history: you can visit locations that were important during the Civil War including Jackson Square which was once a battle ground. Of course, this city offers a lot of out-of-towners lots of exciting attractions to explore as well: if you're in town for Mardi Gras, you need to visit Bourbon Street where all the celebrations happen.
If you like being around water, then you'll love New Orleans' location on Lake Pontchartrain; this area offers all kinds of activities for visitors such as fishing and boating. And if your favorite pastime is watching sports, then be sure to catch one of the local sporting events at any one of their many stadiums located throughout the city.

There are so many great places to see in the US and I there were many more great cities that we could have added to this list. These are some of my personal favorites and each one provides a great and unique experience.
